Once you have received email notification from the Conservatory that you have been accepted into our Summer Intensive Program, there are two things you must do to reserve your spot. First you must email Student Services within ten days telling us that you plan to attend, and then we must receive a non-refundable deposit of US $350 (fully applicable toward tuition) within the following seven days (your specific deadline dates will be indicated in your acceptance email). Please be sure to read the note below regarding deadlines.
TUITION PAYMENT METHODS
- Personal Check, Bank Draft or Money Order in US Currency:
Your check, bank draft or money order should be made payable to “SF Conservatory of Dance” and sent to the address shown below. If it is not in your own name, please make sure that your name is printed clearly on the memo line.
- Visa or MasterCard
Please be advised that payments made by Visa or MasterCard will incur a 3% surcharge to cover bank processing fees (included in online pricing). Depending upon what it is that you intend to charge to your credit/debit card, the surcharge equates to $10.50 on top of the $350 tuition deposit, $61.50 on top of the $2,050 tuition balance for Sessions 2 or 3, and $88.50 on top of the $2,950 tuition balance for Session 1. The surcharge can be easily avoided by sending a check, bank draft or money order instead.

Note regarding deadlines:
Enrollment in our Summer Intensive Program is limited and we extend placement offers on a rolling basis (ie. following each audition). We must be very strict about adhering to deadlines in order to be fair to all of our prospective students as we assemble the student body. If accepted and you miss either of the two deadlines, your name will be placed on a Wait List until mid-April, at which time any remaining spots will be allocated via lottery.
As your deposit is due in office by the date specified in your acceptance email, your envelope must be postmarked at least four days before the deadline. If sending via overnight delivery service, it must be sent no later than the day before the deadline. If paying the deposit online by Visa or MasterCard, it may be paid as late as 12 noon Pacific Standard Time on the day of the deadline. If you are applying for Financial Assistance, please note that your tuition deposit must be received before you may request an application form from Student Services. All Financial Aid applications must be submitted to our office no later than March 23, 2018.
In order to complete your enrollment in the program, you must download, print, fill out, and submit the following forms together with proof of your health insurance and the balance of your tuition no later than April 2nd, 2018:
- Physician’s Release Form
- Assumption of Risk Form (for parents/guardians of minors)
- Assumption of Risk Form (for applicants 18 and over)
- Medical Information Form
- Emergency Authorization Form (for parents/guardians of minors)
- Proof of Health Insurance (copy of both sides, if a card)
